Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 tracks what's happening on your website. It records where your traffic comes from, which pages people visit, and how they behave before they convert. Most home service contractors have GA4 installed but aren't using it to measure what actually matters: which marketing efforts are producing booked jobs, not just form fills or page views. PillarDrive bridges that gap.
What you can do
PillarDrive includes a native Google Analytics workflow action that lets you fire custom events directly into your GA4 account at any point in a workflow. You connect GA4 using your Measurement ID and an API secret, both pulled from your Google Analytics Data Stream settings. Once connected, you can trigger a custom GA4 event whenever a specific action happens in PillarDrive: a lead books an appointment, completes a qualification step, gets tagged as a qualified prospect, or reaches any other milestone you define.
Those events appear in your GA4 dashboard alongside your standard pageview and session data. You can build custom reports, create audiences from leads who converted, and see which traffic channels are actually producing revenue-stage actions versus which ones are just generating clicks. Note that after a workflow fires, it takes 24 to 48 hours for event data to reflect in the GA4 platform.
Why it matters
Most contractors running Google Ads or investing in SEO have no visibility into which effort is producing closed jobs. They can see impressions, clicks, and form submissions. They can't see which of those submissions turned into booked estimates. PillarDrive gives you that visibility by sending the conversion event back to GA4 at the point it actually happens in your sales process, not just when someone fills out a form.
Better data means better decisions. You stop spending budget on traffic sources that fill your CRM with unqualified leads and start putting money behind the channels that produce jobs.
